The Department of English established in 1995 handles Common Course in English programmes for all UG classes. The Department got expanded with the introduction of the UG programme in BA English Literature ,Communication and Journalism ( Triple Main) in 2007 and the Post graduate programme in English Language and Literature in 2013.
